Description
.I don't know what his crime was, but the ladies seem to be handling the punishment. This was a scene from this past weekend at the Pikes Creek Rendezvous at Simmons Island in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
................................................................................................................................
Reenactors encamped on Simmons Island add to the atmosphere of the Colonial through Western Fur Trade era of the 1740s through 1840s at the 16th Annual Pike River Rendezvous.
..............................................................................................................................
Throughout the event, visitors will be able to step back in time to an era when Native Americans and fur traders gathered to exchange goods and services and to celebrate. Costumed reenactors talk about what life was like at a rendezvous during the fur-trading era and will demonstrate the crafts and trades of the time.
...............................................................................................................................
Period foods, snacks and souvenirs will be available from vendors, and people are welcome to participate in games, crate crafts and try their hand at period household chores.

Vote! This must be a wonderful man to volunteer to be placed in this contraption. I have never seen one. Very nice composition with the ladies standing there to look at him. What would they do with someone a little bit larger?

Haha, I was wondering that also, that little note off to the left says something about pirates. Thanks.
