Beautiful old Gothic Revival chapel of St.Mary's is located on the Kemper Center grounds in Kenosha Wisconsin, USA.
This cream brick beauty was built in 1875, some remodeling was done in 1906-1908.
Every year many couples exchange their wedding vows before the altar where Kemper Hall students and the Sisters of St. Mary worshiped daily. The small side chapel, once known as the “Meditation Chapel,” was recently redecorated and serves as the bride’s dressing room. The groom’s dressing room now occupies the space that was the sacristy.
Kay Novy (kkphoto1) Have always been interested in art in one form or another. Started out as a hairdresser, then oil and water color painter. Have taken many art classes, but it was a series of photography classes that I knew I was hooked! Love it. I have had my photos published in the local newspaper and for a local calendar, recently had a photo published in "Birds And Blooms" magazine. My art would be perfect for the home or office.
