The most famous beach in Panglao, Bohol is the main tourist Alona Beach in the Philippines. The beach has a length of 800 meters and offers a lot of possibilities. Many hotels, restaurants and bars right on the Ocean. Water sports such as jetski, kitesurfing, kayaking and of course snorkeling and scuba diving. There are daily offered several trips to the nearby islands of Balicasag and Pamilacan.
Alona Beach offers a pristine island province complete with famous animals, breathtaking scenic views and 600 year old churches. Along Bohols pristine coastline lay the many islands of Panglao, Pamilacan, Cabilao, Dao, Mahanay and Lapinin. These provide world famous dive spots as well as great Island Hopping, Dolphin Watching and sight seeing. Bohol is located in the heart of Visayas (just 1hr 45 min boat ride from Cebu). to the east if Bohol is the island of Leyte.
Alona Beach is famous for its powdered sands and pristine waters.
