This lovely Colonial Revival style home was built in 1913 for Walter J. Frost.
Mr. Frost was ahead of Frost Manufacturing, which was an important industry in twentieth century Kenosha Wisconsin, USA.
The lovely symmetrical in design home is on the list of historic homes in the Library park Historic District.
Built in simple Colonial
Revival style, the Frost
house is a two-story frame
building with a steeplypitched
gable roof, projecting
shed-roofed dormers, and symmetrically placed windows. The main
entrance features a fine fanlight and is covered by a simple gable-roofed
porch supported by two square columns. There is a one-story sun room
on the south facade of the building.
The house was built for Walter J. Frost of the Frost Manufacturing
Company, an important industry in twentieth century Kenosha.
